I've missed several good deals because I wanted to research. A 3" M66 leaps to mind. I didn't know what I was looking at. Went back to get it.... gone.

There are others.
As you gain knowlege you'll be better prepared to pounce on that smokin' deal when it comes along. You'll also be better able to recognize when you should just walk away.
Thanks!!!
Knowlege is not the problem. I have been studying, and buying for 35 years. 45 years if you count the first gun I bought at a Western Auto at 12 years old. So I know a good deal when I see it. My problem is not buy now. I will have the cash in my pocket, and think let's sleep on it. I will go home an research. I will see what ones are selling for etc..
I go to get it the next day, and it is already sold.
These are usually used guns, that I have never shot before.
I guess, I just need to let go. Buy it and if I don't like, it sell or trade. Old Dog learning new tricks!!!
Just wondered what others did in this situation???
"You'll also be better able to recognize when you should just walk away."
LOL
I need the ability: When I know it's a deal, to not run away, then walk back.
