How do you carry you BUG?

I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, my back-up would be either of my 1911's or a full size M&P. My primary would be an AR. Hope it never comes to that, because the S would've had to really HTF. Till then, one's enough for me.

I thank all of you for your opinions and ideas. For those of you doubting I can carry both guns- people said the same thing when I said that I was planning to carry a Full-sized 1911 in the summer. I actually have pants with very deep pockets (one of which I can and have pocket carried the 1911 in) so pocket carry isn't truly off the table. I'm also considering using my coat pocket in the winter. Does anyone choose to carry in this manor in winter and how practical is it?

Two full size all steel handguns on a belt? You must indeed
be a kid. Hurts my old bad back just to think about it. I think
in time you will get tired of lugging that much weight around.
I have carried one of my J frames in a coat pocket quite a bit
in cold weather. Seems like a great idea until you try it for a
while. Revolvers tend to turn upside down in a coat pocket
and can be hard to draw quickly or at all as the grip required
to pull an upside down revolver out makes for a bulky mass
that may be hard to clear the pocket. Also unless your coat
is zipped or buttoned the coat just moves with your hand and
the gun remains in the pocket. You end up having to use both
hands to execute the draw. Not good in a defensive situation.

The only time that I carry two guns is at work. I don't have enough real estate to carry two guns off duty. If I were to carry two, I would probably carry in the pocket or appendix carry. By the time I belt on my primary, spare mag/speedloader pouch, and badge, I'm all outta waistband.

For me, carrying an extra mag/reload is about as close as I can get to carrying an extra gun. The guns I carry are all quality firearms and I trust them implicitly. If my gun malfunctions and I can't get my gun back into the game with a reload, that gun isn't worth carrying.

Probably the only reason that I may carry an extra gun would be to hand off to my wife if we are in public and are unfortunate enough to encounter an active shooter scenario. I would hand off my extra gun to my wife (potentially escorting the kids) and she is to leave. I would cover her exit and try to deal with the bad guy.

Glock 27 in ankle holster...I always wear boot cut jeans.

Folks ask why I carry two guns...Well if I did not I'd be off balance and walk in circles!
