How do you remove the disconnector spring from the trigger assembly?

Is there an easy way to remove the disconnector spring from the trigger assembly? I am replacing my blue trigger springs with the ones from JP but the disconnector spring seems to be lodged in there pretty well.

pull harder... it's just pressed in there
You'll notice the replacement spring is ever-so-slightly larger at one end... the end goes in first.
