honestly, whgy buy a 223/5.56 if I already have a m1 garand 30-06 and a Ithaca 308 and many other fine caliber rifles\. thats mho
Question: Why not?It would be one of the cheaper rifle calibers that you can shoot & a number of other reasons. The more rifles/calibers, the better!
I own a ruger mini14 is the only weapon in .223 that can be registered in Mexico (with a little luck) in sports presentations more than tactics

Haha it's really hard to tell what rifle is what since people like adding new stocks to them. My interest in long range shooting has been around only for a few weeks but that style of chassis is my favorite.
EDIT: Holy cow! Do these things go for $800??
