How much did you pay for your M&P Shield?

I got mine for 449 plus6% tax at my LGS. Went in to buy a M&P40C and they had just got a Shield in .They told me they hadnt had it out for no more than 15 minutes.

$499 + Tax at Carter's Country. Only place I've seen them in stock. Everytime I've asked at Academy they just laugh at me. Lucky you getting one for $399.

I paid $500 OTD from a local show in Columbus, OH over the weekend. It was at the top of my range but it was the first I had held one in a year and I let that one go last June... for $399... STUPID! So I am aware I over paid a little bit, but at least I didn't pay gunbroker.com prices a few weeks ago.

I had ordered one from Atlantic Tactical 6 weeks ago and I was told today it would probably be September before I received mine. I am still on two other waiting lists so I might get two more for a reasonable price.

No regrets, it shoots great and conceals even better!

Got my Shield 9mm over the weekend for $449 + tax at local Academy. They only received one, and I got lucky.

Other Academy store indicated the price was $399, and when I asked about it when getting mine, they just said "that's not the price at this store." - I guess you get to say that when you actually have one in stock :D

After that I also went to a gun show... only saw a single Shield, a .40 - asking $849! Laughed and walked away. But then, most prices at this show were like that.

M&P Sheild 9mm

I got one yesterday at a local private dealer , who is only 1 1/2 miles away for $400. I am very happy with it. on todays market you almost have to buy anything you see , because most likely it will be sold to someone else. Only put 50 rounds through it , shoots great.

Support the 2nd Admendment.

Cuomo's got to go..
I do not support the New York safe act, so dont hold it against me.
I did not Vote for Obama or Cuomo.

Ordered one on 2/21 from LGS. Price is $469+tax. It may arrive this week. The larger LGS here is charging $499+tax. They get in larger shipments, but I was willing to wait a little longer to save $30.

Bought my .40 yesterday. $479 minus 5% LEO discount brought it down to about msrp, plus fees and taxes = $513 otd. LEO only version here in CA. I don't know if you can even find CA compliant versions yet. I was tired of waiting for the LGS in my town that could have saved me $50 or so. I wanted the gun, really did not want the CA compliant version. Wanted .40 cal, which is what I have carried at my side on duty since 1992. Done, done, and done. Finally.

Bought a 9mm Shield on Friday, paid $449 plus tax. I was very surprised I even found one after reading here how people have been waiting months on end for one.

I would go MSRP if I could find one in the state of Arkansas? So far no luck. Long waiting lists everywhere.

Paid $540 on GunBroker plus shipping and credit card fee....total $585 but, for me, it was better than not ever getting one! I'll just have to work a little extra overtime this month!

Paid $349 + tax for mine a few weeks back. That is the LE price from a S&W LE dealer.

Sounds like The Armory in Virginia Beach. They have a separate LEO/Military counter of guns not sold to the general public.

It was actually Town Police in Collinsville. About an hour south of Roanoke or 4 hours west of VA Beach on 58.

$429.00 + tax 9mm, SE WA State, I'd looked for some time, no Shields to be found. I had purchased an 870 shotty on Gunbroker sent to my FFL, Whilst picking up the 870 I asked if he had a Shield 9mm. Low and behold he said "yes" I lucked into finding it at the right time as they weren't taking orders or names for holds. It was good day!

$600 NIB for my .40 cal, including 400 rounds of ammunition. I'm very pleased with my purchase. This is one sweet little gun!
