How much did you pay for your M&P Shield?

I'm not LE, I'm fire. Anyone can shop there. There may be a price break for public safety but I'm not sure.

I live and carry in Costa Rica where weapons import tax is 200% and good quality hand guns are expensive. I recently purchased a Shield 9mm for... $750. It was one of three reputable gun shops in the country. I shopped the other stores and the prices were all the same. You wanna play, you gotta pay.

$329 plus tax - 3 years ago. Took 4 months to find an extra magazine for it at the time.

I live in Costa Rica and have to deal with a 200% import duty on ALL FIREARMS plus a 13% sales tax. There are three gun shops that I know of in the whole country so competition is not great. But the cost is nothing compared to the ccw permit. But I got my permit and will be picking up my $750 Shield this week.

Schuyler Arms Co. is offering the S&W Shield 9mm for only $315.00 with free shipping . It is their end of summer special.
I haven't checked it out, but it seems strange that they could offer this piece for so low a price! I already have my shield and am not interested in buying another. If anyone would like to check it out, the online Url is:

Just for anyone around the Charlotte, NC area... You don't have to be LEO, etc to purchase there, but *some* items are indeed restricted to former military/LEO, etc...the Shield is one of those items, which is unfortunate because it's $329.

In Southwest Florida, they are going for $350 as of 2 weeks ago.

I'm not sure that's even a good LEO price. I was at the Dixie Gun & Knife show in Charlotte a couple of weeks ago and there were a couple of dealers with the $329.00 price for anyone.

Just paid 370 OTD NIB. Not the very best price but not bad.
Despite my comments above, I just bought a 9mm Shield from Atlas Firearms (NC) for a cash price of $379 + tax. Although I could've done slightly better with a mail order deal, in the end these guys have tolerated my multitude of trips to their store to rack, dry-fire, and strip every conceivable handgun they had in stock, and thus, I wanted to buy directly from them. Great folks! Very happy
My son bought a .40 Shield today at a LGS for $350 + tax, NIB.
