How much your CCW Permit cost?

Here in NH, $10 for four years. No classes, no nonsense, just fill out a simple form and submit to the Chief of Police in your town. The Chief has 14 days to either issue the license or state in writing the reason for non-issuance.

It's pretty consistently 152.50 here in CO. There were a couple of counties running a competition on who could issue the most CCWs, so they were running significantly less.

I payed $60 for my class... We watched a video for 1 hour about escalation of force, got explained how a gun operates, had to shoot 3 rounds at the range and that was it. Took around 2 hours, so no I will have to pay $117 to send in my application

Curious were you get your figures. I paid $298.90 total.

$105.90 + $93 to sheriff
$100 for class/qual

I guess it depends which county you're residing...

Add to yours a $150 Psychological evaluation fee and our class here $195

If you would like to pay me back, I'll forward you the receipts.:p

Psych eval?! Where do you live?

In MA it runs about $500.00 (all costs included) and that doesn't include the purchase of a firearm or ammo.

Part of the plan is to make it too expensive for low income folks to be legal.

Just wait until cities and states begin tacking on local taxes on purchases.

The requirement to join a club drives the costs up.

The license is for 6 years.

Recurring ANNUAL costs are $150. or so per person for a good club

500? I paid 100 for the app and like 45 for the nra course... what part of MA are you in?

In Morgan County, Alabama, it's $20/year. No classes. No other hoops to jump through. Pass the NICS and walk out, license in hand, within minutes.

In MN they requre a class that will run between $80-$150 and the application fee @ a maximum of $100 for a total around $180-$250 for five years.

The renewal fee is normally a bit lower, like $75, but you still need to take the class again.

Here in the great county of Ottawa, in the state of Michigan, our initial class was $115.00 if I remember right and the state needed $105.00 for 5 years. My first renewal for another 5 years will be in August (for Oct birthday) and it will again be $105.00 for 5 more years.

Class was $75.00 for 8 hours and then range time. Paperwork is $90.00 and the renewal is $80.00. It is good for 5 years where we are located in NC.

My wife just recently got her permit here in VA. Cost was $35 for a 5 year permit. Oh, they would laminate it for you for $1 more. :D

Took mine at 21. Paid $85 that included class, targets, fingerprints, notary, range time, eyes and ears if you didn't have your own. Everything but gun and ammo. But you could rent one if you wanted to.

I got mine in Oct before all the crazy stuff happen..

N.C. Randolph

8 hour class /range time $51
App to Sheriff's office $90
Mental Heath background check $10
Total $151 and good for 5 years

Hand gun premits are $5 a piece and i have bought 6 guns since having the CCP which saved me $30 buxs so far and no waiting around.. the more you buy the more you save on the cost of the CCP.. so that takes me down to $121 so far in them.

In Michigan, the training class is waived for current or retired LEO's. License costs $105 for initial and renewal and is good for 5 years.

Yup, $10 in NH...the Live Free or Die State. No sales tax and no income tax. Property taxes are high so it's a trade off. If you of are a supporter of the 2nd Amendment, then welcome to our beautiful state which was voted the #1 state in the USSA (United Socialist States of America). We have a low crime rate. Does anyone besides me see a low correlation between that and easy to get CCP's? Just wondering. :) Yiogo

Here in the great state of California I will cough up $563 in total between submitting the application and approval process which may take up to 90 days.

How much yours cost ?

City of Mobile, Alabama - $20 and about 20 minutes as long as they don't pull up anything bad when they look you up.

In Montgomery, AL it's $20 a year with a two week waiting period for the initial application.
