How often do yo shoot?

I've been very fortunate in not having been forced to alter my shooting routine and continue shooting an average of a couple of times per week, just as I'd done before we were confronted with the plague.

I use the ranges at a private gun club I've belonged to for a long time. I shoot either rifles or handguns, sometimes both during one trip. I use my own conventionally lubed cast bullets in all my handguns. I use jacketed and cast bullets in rifles, depending on the cartridge.

I also shoot a fair amount of .22 LR (CCI SV) in rifles and handguns.

Not as much as I want but I lit a fire under the clan.

We will be going at it next week and I will load ammo for those wimps that
don't have any ammo or don't want to shoot it up !!

They all need to get some practice in.............
sitting at home not doing anything is not a good thing.

I even have four special loads for one of the wives that has a 38 airweight, so she can see if she likes one for target or the full load for SD use.

Most of us shoot 38 or 9mm, which makes it easy on me if they need target ammo.

I do make them buy factory SD ammo, though.

In brevity, at the OP, you are likely seeing high-condition guns for sale online to maximize sale price...shooters are held in good regard and usually kept or traded with friends...just my 2 cents.

When I retired 5 years ago, started a weekly retired guy shoot at the indoor gun club. Been going strong and haven’t missed many. Once a month with nice weather I go to the outdoor club in Ashtabula mainly shooting rifle. Larry

I was going to our public range monthly until the ammo shortage hit. Even though I have some .38 & 9MM set aside my range visits have been cut way back lately, and I miss going.

I'm averaging twice a month. Previously I went to the Game and Fish Commission range that's about 35 miles away but I recently joined a private club that's a 50 mile drive. The benefit of the private range is that it's not crowded, has more hours of operation and is available 7 days a week vs. 5 days.

Two years ago the I would have said everyday that weather permitted. But with my health issues and my wife's dementia I've only shot twice since last Nov.
