I'm betting you could soak the magazines in gasoline to loosen the glue. That way you wouldn't have to microwave the magazine. Could make your next shooting experience rather interesting. 
Any other takers on dumb suggestions?
Speaking of dumb, don't do as I did. I am not real mechanically inclined, so I was rather proud of myself for figuring out how to get the bottom plate off of the magazine... so proud that I forgot what I was doing & yanked it off. Thirty minutes later, I found all the parts that flew out of that magazine at the speed of sound. Heck, I think they move faster than the bullet itself.
