This didn't take long either.
Let me know if you've never ever inconvenienced anyone, ever!
Guy made a poor judgment call. Got caught, admits it and life goes on. But Noooooo let's get the rope out!
Relax, it's just others expressing their disgust at the selfish, inconsiderate slobs that use the handicapped facilities for their own convenience even though able bodied.
kbm6893's post struck a nerve. Saying he drug his leg, pretending to be disabled in front of a wheelchair bound fellow was messed up by itself and can be considered as mocking him.
Personally, I've worked hard to stay out of a wheelchair. Basically, I spent about a year relearning to walk using the leg muscles that still worked. However, some days aren't quit as good as others.
I have had acquaintances who are wheelchair bound and are dependent on the "conveniences" provided for the handicapped.
As Old cop put it, try putting yourself in the shoes of the disabled, it's no picnic. Since my condition also affects my hands, I've had to learn how to eat left handed (I'm right handed) and I need to use both hands just to write my name. My wife tried eating left handed, didn't last long.
I personally avoid using handicapped facilities and parking spaces. Rather, leaving them open for those worse off than me.
We're just asking that others, who are able bodied, have a little consideration for those who are worse off than them and do the same.
