How To Tell If You Are Young Or Old?

That "fall down" thing got me a couple weeks ago. I bought a left handed K frame holster off a member here ( love it by the way). So I put it on with a shirt over it with my model 15-3 one night to try out when I took my 16 month old Weimaraner puppy for a short walk. I had Angel on her leash and we took a quick walk around the front yard so if she needed to go I didn't have to clean it up till morning. She's very strong and a danged rabbit decided to jump out of the bushes. "Angel" took after it and I went right down on my left side, right on the stupid gun. Of course her leash was firmly around my wrist so she didn't go anywhere, but across the street the lady had people there to watch this. Half were laughing and a couple came out the door to make sure I was okay. Even Angel kinda laughed and pretended to care by slurping my face. So some laughed and some looked concerned, so I don't know what to think. Maybe I'm a 'tweener. But dang that left a mark! Oh, the revolver is fine!

If you trip and fall and everyone laughs you are young. If you trip and fall and everyone comes to you and says are you ok and helps you up you are old. Thats the truth.:)

I need to modify your saying above a bit for my case, and apparently a number of other folks on the TV.

If you trip and fall and everyone laughs you are young. If you trip and fall, and you can't get up, everyone comes to you and says are you ok and helps you up you are old.👍

This literally happened to me about a month ago.
I even remarked that had I been 30, everyone would've laughed, but in my 50s, there was a lot of concern on the surrounding faces!

There's no mystery, you just know when you're old...

When I was young, I was taught to hold doors open for the ladies.
I still do it, but now some of them feel like they need to hold doors open for me!

I still love it when cute young women smile at me, but I'm not so thrilled when they follow it up with, "You remind me of my dad/grandpa!"

I fell at the va clinic and was nearly trampled .
