I lived in ny and moved to RI where the gun laws are way less strict. I want to unpin my stock but I am not sure how to go about it. I saw the other threads and one way i saw they did it is by drilling through the other side and pushing it out. The problem is my roll pin is in a different spot and dosen't look like a good idea to drill through. Does anyone know a way for me to get it out?, i tried pulling on it with needle nose pliers but it won't budge.
Thank a lot!

I am not sure what you are doing but if you can get a hold of your pin with a drill chuck, gripping it with the chuck will hold it better than any pair of needle-nosed pliers can ever hope to hold it. The chuck may or may not leave a mark on the pin, so if it is something critical, for cosmetic reasons, you may end up having to replace the pin, but usually not. Try to twist the pin as you pull it out. The twisting action usually is a big help.

You can sometimes snag roll pins with very small machine screws and give yourself a better purchase to pull it out. You can drill it out but that requires a solid drill press and vice to hold it all in place as the plastic is very soft.

First of all, stop chewing up your stock with pliers.

Drill through the other side and then tap it out with a punch. Or, as suggested above, screw a slender machine screw into the pin and then pull it out. None of the plastic there has any function besides holding the buttstock on, so don't worry about drilling through it.

Super easy! Use a drill bit that's smaller then the opening on the pin itself. Drill in about a quarter if the way. Wiggle slightly and start to pull up. Continue to wiggle the drill as you pull upwards. Them pop, the pin comes right out and you now have a 6 position adjustible stock!

Here's how I did it:

-Drill through pin to other side of stock. This small hole is so you now where to drill the next hole.
-Make the new hole on opposite side of the pin big enough to punch out the pin. I think it is a 1/8" pin.
-Punch out old pin.

I did this with a hand drill and didn't ruin anything.

I go with this as well. Pulling the pin out with a drill bit is totally dependent upon how tight the pin is. Some almost drop out and some cannot be drilled out.
