This from a couple years back, but I think I'm approaching 25 kills of this species plus a couple dozen more of skunks, possums and feral cats. Most shot at night with a light and laser.:D

im just waiting on my streamlight supertac 200 lumen light
im well over 30 kills and all but a few squrels were taken at night....

A limb rat that had been getting in the roof of a shed last year and making a mess of everything.......solid black.

How many shots on the 'yote?

one right behind the shoulder where the blood spot is,,,, she fell just right behind a downed tree just inside the treeline and i couldn't find her,,, it was raining pretty hard and i couldn't find any blood but i found her at first light only about 8 feet from where she was shot

We have all black squirrels all over the place in Michigan. My parents' property is overrun with them so much that the standard (large) brown squirrels are almost all gone. We also have the little red squirrels that, supposedly, like to bite off the nuts of the larger species of squirrels.

I'm going to take care of both of those problems this year. :)

Sing with me- the Beatles: "Ricky raccoon, went straight to his tomb, with a 22 between his eyeballs."

I got a little 'Weird Al' in me!!:D

i know this is off topic but still very interesting

ok so i set my live trap out cause i want to catch a live squirrel and try to tame it (yes its possible) so i used bird feed from wal-mart and look what i ended up getting

had the local game warden come take him,,, he is suppose to be released on a game preserve cause there a protected species so im not sure if there going to do any thing about the nose,,, it looks worse in the photo than it was

Hey Nathantc, this may be a dumb question, but is that a fox or coyote? I'm gonna guess fox

its a fox in the trap,,, got that some time last night but, it was there when i checked the trap this morning,,,, odd thing is it was caught with bird feed ( peanuts and seeds )

Interesting coloration for a fox. Know what species? Around here, we just have the standard red ones.

i believe it was a grey fox, just beautiful, and had very soft fur like a house cat would,,, i really wish there was a way to tame it... would have made an awesome pet,,, very beautiful animal

but every time i would try and feed it or touch it it would go crazy making the most demonic sound you could imagine and try and bite
