..... to get any older. 67 years ago today,I must have known there had been a war going on and didn't want to stick my head out. I guess I wanted to hit the ground runnin'cause I was coming feet first and Mama had to be cut on to get me out.

I weighed over 9 pounds and was the biggest baby at the horsepistol. I don't know what happened in the meantime,'cause I got fed real well,and still turned out to be little bitty guy. Always had to prove myself to the bully boys,and did pretty well at it.
I've been shot,shot at,cut,punched,kicked,and dragged behind a truck,but I'm still here and still lovin'it.
Starting today I'm backin' up every year!
OUCH! My shoulder hurts. My knee too.

I figure as long as my health holds, every day is a gift. The state of my mind doesn't matter. If it goes I really won't have a clue, though my wife may be put out by it.
