I blame you guys.

Same here! Great education and fun sharing info. Always something to catch one's eye. Enjoyed the 442 thread and the pics so much I am getting weak myself. Now that one I like.

The search is almost as much of a rush as the buy;).....but.....as soon as I find a deal on a 4513...I'm done....this time I mean it:rolleyes:

I think you are right about the hunt. I can’t stay out of Pawn and Gun Shops. Buy some, trade some, sell some, and keep some. It’s a circle that I don’t get tired of. Now as far as being the last one.....I think I bought my last grail gun about 25-30 purchases ago! I’ve owned one model 28 four different times. I quit saying this is my last one because I hate a liar!

Welcome to the club Iggy ! I started when Sevens sold me a m639 , followed by a beautiful m52-2 . Since then I have added about 30-35 semi's . But it's not the guns ( well maybe it is ) but the people on this forum . I mentioned wanting a CS45 , ozarkmarine offers me one . Looking for mags , someone pmed me . I count myself lucky to have ofund you guys . Sevens ? I still text him . I was out at Disney World last night and he texted me . He knew I was looking for some m4013 mags for a 10mm conversion . Now , I know he was at work , and he saw those mags and texted me . Where else do you meet people like that ? And never meet them face to face . Down side ? He's after me to get a m845 or 952 , to get the real experience .

That's part of the trouble. The folks on here are knowledgeable and generous not to mention friendly.

When they start talking about how fine a certain gun is, one has to go find one just becuz!!

That has led me into a variety of S&Ws. Third Generations are just the latest temptations.

I don't mind getting Blamed at all for this addiction we have as I tell my old wife of 51 years, You guys made me do it, I walk away clean everytime. Ya Right, but I have to listen to it for days. BigSmile here.

Well let me say, (just to help you out,) I would NOT recommend any more 3rd Gen Semi’s, after a CS9. There really should be less guilty feeling people seeking them out, so those of us who realize we have an “issue” have a better chance. :D

Also, again just to help, you would not like any PC Semi’s. The inherent accuracy, hand fitting, hand polishing, hand checkering, Briley bushing’s, limited numbers, AND incredible good looks, are not something to be concerned/interested in.

Hope this helps.

Found a single side safety, not perfect, 5 step not flat 4 step, but yours if you want.

I decided several yrs ago that instead of buying more guns , I just needed to shoot the ones I have more and try different loads . I have found a great 38 spl load using the Keith 173 swc . If I had kept buying more guns I probably won't of taken the time to find the 38spl load that I enjoy the most for that caliber . regards, Paul

That's what makes this forum great.:)
PM sent.

Thank you very much,

Long ago, I decided to focus on 9mm to rationalize my ammo inventory. That worked just fine until I bought a .45 which has somehow turned into 3 of them.

Last night, I did the unthinkable. I bought a .40 which I realize I will never fire. Where does it end?

Just as a follow up, 4T5GUY sent me the single side safety and I got it transferred to my 3914 just now.

I offered to pay for the safety or a trade of some kind but he would have nothing to do with it.

On top of that, he knew I had a 1911 and he sent a spare set of Hogue grips with the safety because the package seemed too empty.

This is why I have been hanging around this place since 2003.
I have met personally or become acquainted with some mighty fine folks on here.. Maybe that's why I'm on here several hours each day.

Thanks Jim, and Happy Thanksgiving to a durn nice bunch of folks.
