Had a 130"+ 10 point in the yard last week...on two very young does. Watched him for 5 mins or so,then went downstairs, got the .257 Roberts M-70 and my required orange vest. Went out the back door intending to pop him....until I had to wait for him to get out from behind my Tahoe in the yard. Just didn't seem right. LOL.
As I've grown older it has gotten tougher and tougher to pull the trigger. Killed enough of them in the past I guess?

As a born and raised in Jersey kinda guy...10 point says the same thing as 5x5. ONLY time I use the western count is on muleys...or if a 10 pt is so because he is a 4x6 or whatever ...any non even count.
Could have fired up the tractor...raised him with the front end loader...and gutted him a ways away...just couldn't pull the trigger. He was having too much FUN. LOL.

I took some of you Northern boys advise and got outta of the deer stand. Picked this little loggin trail and have taken a few good deer.
