I have been a S&W person always. And a made of metal only S&W person. I would never own a tupper ware firearm. I tried shooting a Glock and all of a sudden there is a brand new G19 Gen 4 in the house with a plastic frame! I do not know what happened:rolleyes: I shoot well with it and like it a lot, but I still like my Smith's.

I'll say it because many others won't. Traitor dog.

I'll guess you are a DIY or woodworker. Who else would want a gun with a grip shaped like a piece of 2x4 ?????

Go try an M&P in any caliber. Sell the Glock and get back in the S&W family.
The grip on an M&P is 100 times better than any Glock.

No need to 'splain. I picked up a G26 and love it. I have shot 23's, 19's, 21's and could never get them to shoot as well as other guns I owned. This one is different. I am getting good groups out this sub compact and it is an easy carry gun. Its a keeper.

I have been hanging around with LE and ex-military people at the shooting range. They talked me into it. It is not my fault.:D I am still in the smith family, I have 5 that I am keeping.

My son a ISP trooper decided I needed to come into the 21 century and bought me a G26. A short time latter I bought myself G19 and then a G34. Even though I understand and like the dark side they will never take the place of my metal Smiths. Oh, gordon21 that's your opinion, my opinion is if you can't hold a Glock see a orthopedic surgeon . I'm a 3rd gen crazy and all plastic guns are just tools.

Nothing wrong with Glock pistols. If I didn't carry 3rd Gens and S&W revolvers, I would carry a Glock.

Glocks are great. The gen 4 s have great traction with the new nubs on the frame. Duct taped to the sole of your boot you will never fall on ice or snow when shooting your Smith. That's why people who own Glocks own more then 1. :D

I got 1 in the family too, a Glock 26 makes a great back up gun, almost more than my CS9D

And then a barrel harmonics attachment

Makes it sound the same, every time.

i'm a metal/wood smith guy all the way as well...but...recently picked up the M&P 45c and it certainly shoots well

I used to own a G19 and a G22, both second generation. Liked both a lot but sold them due to fiscal hemorrhage. Now I can't afford to buy guns anymore, but I'd like to have a G19 again to go with my revolvers.

I have some glocks and keep a 27 next to my bed. It has more bullets and is absolutely reliable. In 1990 our dept transitioned from revolvers to glocks. I had carried a revolver on duty since starting in 1968 and I purchased my old model 10. I had a hard time making this change, I think I just hate change, but even I couldn't argue with 17+1 versus 6. I love my Smiths, Colts and Rugers, but, I sleep with a glock. No apologies here. Each to their own.
