I FINALLY Finished This Holster!

Interesting to note you made the back flap so wide. Any particular reason for it? Your work has impressed me from the first time you started posting about it.

Rather than have the back skirt be thinner, I had it follow the contours of the trigger guard area. I wanted it to reach the edges of the holster when looking at it from the side. the riveted loop, I felt, should be attached to a back skirt similiar to a Colt SAA holster in width. But keep in mind this holster was made for a 2 1/2" gunbelt, not a pants belt, so the bulk balanced with the belt. Here is the holster the buyer first saw that made him order this one. Usually these would have a folded over belt loop.



 
I am also intrigued by the snap being put up higher than just in the skirt strap. Nicely done!!
 
Nice looking tool work on the holster.........its a keeper.

I did that back in High School in leather class and the stitching
was all done by hand and needle. One full belt & holster was died black with a pink rose in the center of the holster, fun times.

Got to love the "Natural" tan look, though, every thing shows up so much better.
