Well after kicking around the idea of a 340PD or a 360J, I opted for the 360J, times 2. The store was having a sale so after holding and inspecting both the 360 & 340, I went with 2 360J's for what I would have had in the 340PD. They had 6, 360's to choose from and after inspecting a five of them, I got 2 of the best ones they had. Some of them had canted barrels and you would have never known it if you did not look close enough. This black finish makes it hard to catch the flaws in one of these J frames. One of the guns had scratch marks on the front of the cylinder too...
They were marked for $449.00/pc and they gave them to me for $414.00/pc, so I think I made out pretty good. These guns are from Jan/Feb 2016 so I assume they have the stainless cylinders. Either way, the triggers are both better than the 442 I got a few weeks ago. Now for some serious snap cap break in and the new black/gray Hogues are on the way. Will be taking them for a range sessions tomorrow with my son so I will update how they shot.

Below are the guns with my other J frames at the moment. I really like the darker airweight guns and have since downsized to these. Thanks for all of the info you guys shed on the different models as I think I got the best of what will fill my needs. More to come...

That is a good deal! You have a very nice collection going.

Mine also had scratches on the cylinder face; I bought it used. Turns out the forcing cone had some splinters of metal (forgot the correct term :( ) sticking out. I would buy another today if I could find one ...

I picked one up last weekend too. I had no idea what it was when I saw it in the display case. It was marked at $449 but on sale for 10% off so it came home with me. I put some white paint on the front sight and installed a 14 lb trigger rebound spring and have started the dry fire break in routine. The trigger is coming around nicely. I like that it has a pinned front sight so I can change it if desired.

Enjoy those 360's and be safe!
