I Just Picked Up a CTG!

Is there any way to upload a picture of my uber rare CTG? I heard there were only a few of them made back in the day....

You guys are hilarious! Gives new meaning to ROFLMAO....cause that's what this thread has made me do!

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I got a picher of one of them CTG's. Its a rare 44/45 CTG.

Here's some old 40MM CTG's from my days in the Navy. I traded a Machinist Mate a 12 pack of Pepsi and 2 more spent 40MM CTG's, for the solid Copper and steel inserts that he turned down and pressed in for me. (Pepsi was GOLD when in the middle of the IO!) ;)

These are a bit top-heavy!

Anyone get any new CTG's for Christmas? ;)

This guy...one of those uber rare 45 Colt CTG'S!! I heard that this CTG is suber rare... :p:D

Father gifted me one of his 25-5s with a six inch barrel that he has used in lots of IPSC shoots...super smooth trigger. Thanks to another forum member, learned it was shipped in 1980.

It is indeed a Smith and Wesson Christmas...as it should be! :) Enjoy your Christmas, everyone.

Awesome Father! .....I mean 25-5 Gift!!! :) ;) Merry Christmas!

I got a revolver it is nickle or chrome? When you open the revolver to where you put the shells it has 10-5 the bbl is real short. One side of the bbl has smith and wesson the other side has 38 s&w spl. I can not find ctg any where on the revolver. Could it be a fake? Made in china?

It's obviously a factory misprint. It's worth double! Cool!

Shoot! I got three of 'em! Top that! A big 'un, a medium 'un, an' a little 'un!

Now all I need is one a them "chrome semi-automatic service revolvers" like you hear about on the television news!

ECS

Some guys have all the luck. You can't find a decent CTG around here without paying BIG bucks. Rair as grid squares and flight line. I'm gonna get my wife a compass rose for new years.

I got a big 'un, a medium 'un, an' a little 'un! A 19 2 1/2" a 19 4" and a 19 6", but they're all .358 magnams! That's a CTG all growed up!

Does anyone else have CTGs with cracks in em? I have a few CTGs and ALL have a long crack on the right side that starts near the trigger and ends up near where the hammer strikes. Is this normal? Should I return em to S&W to get the cracks welded? And are they safe to shoot CTGs?
