I Just Picked Up a CTG!

Rags

Rags if you would buy a new camera I think you could take pictures like Dragon88. His picture is on page 2.
 
I got a CTG yesterday at my LGS. This guy is great. Every time he gets a CTG he calls me and only me. We have a very special relationship. It has all the papers, cards, a letter from the S&W CEO, and two sets of tools. I'm talkin all the goodies. It locks up tighter than Dick's hatband with no tail shake. Pristine! Still in the box and the box is hermetically sealed. I had to use his x ray machine to see it. Has never been touched by human hands or seen the light of day. He wanted $35,000 but I thought that was a little too high. I talked him down to $1.75 OTD. He threw in a case of ammo. This one is going to the deepest, darkest, corner of the safe, like a time capsule. I'll post pictures as soon as I get them back from the photographer. I used the same guy that does work for Playboy. Can't wait for them 8x10 glossies!
 
Now suppose you explain what this postal thing is. My friend says that a postal is when you mail your gun to me and then I mail my gun to some one else. Where in the heck do you put the stamps?

I always thought that it was when we got to go shoot on the post office range. Now which is it?

PS..this thread has taken on a life of it's own that is just hilarious to me and certainly brightens my day with laughter!

Ime bout done heer- aint nobudy made no awfer on my ctg. Ile go elswhare cuz i thank thare is a disstink lack of sufissstikated colecturs heer!

HELP!! I was bored today so I've been examining my new CTG with an electron miscroscope trying to find problems to post about, and I found one! Look at this big crack forming, on the left side of the pic.

Anyone seen ANYTHING like this before!?! I've got seven emails off to S&W and no one will pick up the phone at customer service, I've been waiting 30 seconds already! Will they send me a pickup tag? Think it's from shooting my +P handloads?

Kinda panicked here, please help!
 
Looks like a stress crack to me. Might want to see if the local garage can fill in all those holes with some bumper chrome and weld them back again.
 
OK rags, after you sober up from the holidays, and get out of 'rehab' (they should have taken your 'notepad' away from you)...anyway bring that "old CTG" to OGCA in a few weeks, ands we can take a #1 bastaird file' to take out the ripples in the barrel, and then you can polish it out with that HIGH speed dremel tool and LOTS of polish and make it look like the pictures you 'stole' off the internet............are you stealing the Wi Fi from the public library next to the clinic?? shame on you.....

Dan. Your reply to this thread, makes the thread itself pale in comparison! :D :p :) Here all I was doing was playin' around and look what happened...:rolleyes:

The ripples in the barrel of my CTG happened when I put it too close to the kerosene heater! :eek:

I'll be sure to see you in Wilmington!.... Where I'm at now lets ya out early for BAD behavior! ;)

Datz cause that there isa electron miscroscope pictcher of da CTG handles! Dat's seppert from da CTG!
 
I'm glad I found this thread. I have learned a lot. I'm just not sure what!
 
The guy that knows everything down at the LGS told me if you get shot in the tip of your thumb with one of them CTG's, it'll tear yore whole arm off.

That same guy's brother told me if I ever get in a gun fight to use my finger to plug the other shooter's barrel and then I would win.
