LOLOLOLOL, I did it the “easy peasy” way- I bought a 669 that was built on a 3rd. Gen frame!

Yes.

You would need a separate main spring seat like from Hogue Grips.

I traded into a 469 with crummy aftermarket grips. I fitted a
6906 grip with just a little file work on its bottom.
I've been very satisfied with the result for years.

Ok not perfect @johnnl but I’m also going to to a pc magwell so it may work if not I’ll start over 5906 grips on 659 So where do I trim the front grip ledges?
