I need a ATV

Don't sell them but I had a four wheel ATV "bike" and I can say if I did it again I'd get a UTV (Utility vehicle) over any bike type, those are okay if you just want to play.

Since you're looking at golf carts I take it you don't want to do anything really drastic with it? yes? if so places like Tractor Supply have UTV's for under three grand, probably not the best and I'd bet you could break one but for your needs it may be fine.

I'm going to replace my lifted gas golf cart very soon, and I'm also balking at the prices. I really like the size of the cart, and don't want too big of a vehicle.

The smaller John Deere starts in at about $8K. I'm looking at it, as well as the Honda.

Good luck.

If you are looking for slow and loud, get a 2016 MULE PRO-DXT DIESEL! The Yanmar tops it out at 30 mph but... The gas version is quite a bit faster, but mine should last a bit longer.

Well, you can tell from my advice to just buy a used Jeep that I am a true Westerner and had no idea that Eastern states could have anything like a width maximum for backwoods trail machines. Given that legislation you Easterners just might have no choice but to go with the 4x4 ATV utility vehicles. It makes me wonder if the ATV manufacturer's lobby efforts had anything to do with those restrictive laws.........:-( ......

At least in Ohio, it started in 1985 which is before 4-wheelers became big business. Of course, we don't have BLM land, just Wayne National Forest. Even out west, the National Forests with riding areas have width restrictions on many of the trails.

flipmeister........ makes a good point ..... posted above we bought a neighbors used Polaris RZR......rated top speed is about 55 IIRC..... don't think I've ever had it over 20-25 and that was on a quarter mile straight dirt road to the lake....... mostly 10mph or less................. in Penn's Woods.
