I need opions on which...

Hi-Cap 9mm I should get. If you own one or all of these please let me know. I value the knowledge here, as to why I am even asking. I have narrowed it to a G17, M&P9, and a XD9. I perfer the midsize not compact. They all fall within accecptable sizes. I have done research, and just can't pull the trigger, so to speak. I want to get a S&W, but just can't stop looking at the others mentioned. If ya own all which one do you perfer.

XD9 is about the nicest handgun I've shot lately. Friend bought one last month. I like it. I've shot the M&P9, but not the G17. M&P is a good gun as well, but for me, I prefer the Springfield.

Well, one thing is for sure, of the three you mentioned, each will feel different in your hand. All are reliable and accurate, so that's not an issue. Personally, I've handled all three, shot the Glock and own an XD. I never picked up a M&P where I liked the trigger...too mushy and that tingy spring clicking sound didn't help. The Glock pointed up toward the ceiling and the XD was just perfect (for me). I use it for IDPA because I like the stainless mags and they are 16 rounders.

Hi, I have shot all 3 also I prefer the Glock but I carry a glock on a daily baisis for work and I prefer a .40 or.45 over a 9mm but that is just me.

The question is, what works for you? Someone elses opinion does you no good at all finding a gun that works for YOU!

Well I just got back from the shop. It looks like the XD9 is the winner for me. It fits my hand like a glove. I also spoke to a few folks who also perfer the SA. I had a Glock, and it just did not feel as good as the XD. The M&P also felt good. However the SA was just better for my hand. The trigger was to me better than the M&P. Thanks for all the opions.

It is all about personal preference, does it fit your hand and do you like the trigger pull.
