In about 3 weeks I will be going into self-quarantine in the turkey woods/fields.

The Tennessee turkey season opens April 4th and ends in mid-May.......seems to me that would be an ideal time and place to get away from the Chinese Virus, stock market, politicians and everything else (ie...just quarantine myself) :).

It can't come to soon ...... too many people running around with their "hair on fire" and news people stirring the pot.

Shopping a Walmart earlier I observed that there were racks and racks of empty shelves where toilet paper is normally stacked. Stopped at other stores and found the same- no toilet paper ?? Did I miss the war ?

And I truly believe that the ticks are gonna be plum awful this year. I don't recall our winter temperatures to have dipped past freezing but maybe 1/2 dozen times all winter long.

Be careful out there in the woods. I had RMS fever one time maybe 25 years ago, and my body hasn't stopped hurting since. Those ticks carry some mysterious mojo that make the flu look like a lightweight cold! Doctors don't have a clue what to do for it either it seems. I don't wish it on my worst enemy (if I had any)

Just be careful & check for those tiny little buggers that'll look like a freckle. Good luck with the gobblers.!

I'll be right out there with you kinda….but a few States away. Me, my daughter and grandson enjoy the hunt every year. We love to eat them also, and nothing goes to waste from our birds. Have fun and enjoy the thrill of the morning gobbles!

I just read that our (NM) State Parks are going to shut down overnight camping in order to comply with the Governor's public health directive banning large gatherings of over 100 people.

Huh? When I am camping, I am "socially distanced" already. I certainly don't have a "large gathering" of 100 or more.

I think the outdoors may be crowded this summer, the reluctance to fly and the theme parks closed. People will leave the city and show up in the spots we are used to having to ourselves.

What's the difference with being there in the daytime or overnite? Sometimes you just got to wander who thinks this up

LOL my wife use to call me Pasquinel when I'd wonder around at the cabin in my knit stocking cap. I figured she thought Robert Conrad looked like me!! :D

and

When we were first married; I'd watch the early episodes of "Centennial" every year on a snowy Jan or Feb weekend when it was ''binged broadcast" on TNT or AMC.

I already am in quarantine

^^^^^^^^ just kidding folks. It's pollen season so instead of taking my furniture in and vacuuming every other day, I close my porch off.
