I was in an LGS and a guy was trying to convince his companion to buy an AR-15 'black' gun. She said, "No it looks dangerous". I think this is going to be the next big thing and not just in pink like are being made now. I think a deep burgundy red would be good for a guy. S&W will miss out if they don't get with the style for new shooters, mainly women, but men, too. There's no reason for a sporting firearm especially to have to look look like a death dealer. Henry Ford's cars were all black at one time, too. In addition, this might gain more acceptance from women in general. Choice is the key word here.
