Fox keep showing side by side shots with a background of yellow/orange tracers over blue. I find the moving things on the background part of the screen incredibly distracting.

Do they not realize how the human eye is drawn to movement? Is it just me?

The stands are near empty not many people going to the races. Like all sports they are pricing the seats, food, and drinks so families and the average worker can't go. So block out the stands not to show the seats are bare.

I was quite surprised at how full the stands at Talladega were today. They let the blimp broadcast pictures that showed how full the grandstands were. For most races, they try very hard not to show the grandstands.

With the new aero package and the new restrictor plates, there was way too much single file "racing." Nobody wanted to try to pass because the cars were so hard to handle and had too little power.

I've always found NASCAR on TV A lot like watching golf. But being there in person at a race is much more exciting, just too expensive. Haven't even been to the new track here in Ky yet. Not that I want anyone hurt in a wreck, far from it, bht tge restrictor plates ruined it for me.
