Earlier this year bought a new 63-5 stainless J frame 22LR 3 inch bbl. with adj. sights. What a great little shooter. Flawless thus far. No extraction issues even after all kinds of 22 ammo, and for some reason more accurate for me than my 5 inch bbl. 63. Then a couple of weeks ago bought a new 3 inch 60-15 in 357 basically same configuration as the 63. Another great buy. Smooth trigger and good accuracy right out of the box. No quality issues with either gun. Maybe I'm just lucky, but all of my Smiths, old and new, have been top notch. Boy do I love that 60-15.

Model 19-7 with 2 1/2 barrel, a 586-5 with 4 inch barrel and a Ruger 10/22 Takedown with threaded barrel,BX-25 mag and bird cage flash suppressor this week. A very good week for me thats for sure. There is also the possibility of a new 10mm in my future if the stars and planets line up for me. Add finding a 4 leaf clover and it just might happen.

Just got a Bodyguard 38 and installed hogue tamer grips (#60020)... black of course, not the pink ones LOL. anyway the little guy shoots very well, no accuracy problems evident at 5 or 10 yards. Haven't tried anything further yet... with a snubbie, maybe I never will. Muzzle flip's not bad either. Love the gun, though, super light to carry. I also haven't tried the +P stuff yet...but imagine it will pack a kick for a 38 with this little weight.

I just got a 686 4" just like my fathers that I always liked. It was the gun that got me into collecting s&w.
First S&W, 638-3, a couple months ago and love this gun. Carry it in front pocket of my fishing waders and am pocket carrying as well. It shoots way better that I expected. Definitely won't be last S&W.

I have had no issues with any of them. I probably would have bought a 638 and a 642 with the 2.5 inch barrel except I cannot get past the hole but I am beginning to waver on that!

I bought a Model 640 Pro Series about three weeks ago, and got it out on the range the first time about two weeks ago. I love the sights, the trigger pull is fantastic, the balance is great, the fit and finish is impeccable, and it fits my hand oh so well. My only complaint is the danged ammo drought; however, I do have three or four boxes of .38spcl and I know where I can get a box of WWB 110gr .357mag if I need it.
My first time out on the range with it was mostly just too get a feel for it. Great gun! I started focusing on accuracy on the last 25 rounds (WWB 110grn SJHP .357mag), and was pleasantly surprised. When the ammo situation clears up, I'll take it out more often. But right now, I've got to say that I really like it and think it's the best revolver I've ever owned. (I'm using the rest of the WWB 110grainers for my carry ammo. It's not a perfect solution, but it's the best self-defense ammo I can find right now).

As a long-time collector of pre-lock K-frames, I finally *had* to see for myself what a new Smith K-frame was really like. So I bought a new Model 67 .38 last week. This gun is perfect. Must be the CNC machining, but the sideplate fit is perfect, the yoke/crane fit is perfect, the barrel alignment is perfect, everything about the manufacture is, well, perfect. Even the barrel finish matches the frame. Compared to my Smith's from 60's-80's vintage, this one has the best fit and finish. No joke. And this is coming from a guy who has over 30 pre-lock Smith & Wesson revolvers and who never thought he could ever buy anything recent. Don't beleive the hype, the new ones are great.
640 pro series. Everything about it is great. Cut for moon clips, .357 mag capable, Novak sights on a hammerless!

I bought some Ahrends grips from a member here and got to take them for a test drive yesterday.
25 yards offhand, 2 handed 1 cyl + 1 one handed offhand/target. New grips made a huge difference for me. Could do without the half mile of overtravel in the trigger but I think I'll keep it.

My only new ones are a Model 21 nickel 4 inch which is WONDERFUL. Extremely accurate and finish is great. Plus an M&P 45 Compact which has just about caused my Glock 30 to become a safe queen. Very pleased.

this came home with me on saturday...it replaced a mossjunk 715t...very good move. i put about 125 rounds through it today...it' was the fun i wanted in a semi-auto ar style .22....i'm so happy...

I picked up a new to me 340 SC that was shot only 10 times. This is my first J frame and I love it! I have two holsters an Uncle Mikes for pocket carry and a Mitch Rosen from Dillion , very comfortable hoslster. I also like the pocket carry option. This is my second Smith my other is an older 629 Classic which I would never part with.

Just bought a new 617-6, 10 shot, a couple months back and I'm extremely happy with it.
Kept going to the LGS and walking out with nothing then suddenly got the ***'s and plunked down too much money.
Now I have something I can use to get me better with my 629's without spending a arm and a leg.

Picked up a new 642 this weekend. I've decided to ditch the little semis for the summer and go snubby. So far very impressed. I had no idea how much easier it is to carry a snub. Paid too much for it in a gun store but I've had such a hard time finding one I just pulled the trigger when I actually was able to put my hands on one.

I've had to download some ammo for her, and stocked it with Hornady Critical Defense rounds for carry. The SA trigger is scary light, strictly range use only, but the DA pull is butter smooth and light (for DA) also.
Then I had to go and spoil its looks with Crimson Trace boot grips.

My Model 60-14 is the latest S&W to follow me home. 3" barrel, adjustable sights, full lug. Very nice gun, typical Smith & Wesson quality, slick as snot, smooth, excellent workmanship. And it puts those bullets where the front sight says they're going to impact.
I've been collecting, selling and trading Smith & Wessons since 1979 and never seem to have enough. Love 'em!
Had to send one back two years ago (a 642) because the cylinder did not line up when you peered down the bore, you could see a crescent moon shape of the cylinder's face instead of a straight through bore. That was on initial inspection after purchasing new. If I had shot it-OUCH!
I later figured out just why this gun was the way it was. There was a young chap working at the gunshop counter with the bad habit of slamming revolvers open and shut like he saw on TV. Explains why S&W had to replace the crane and fitted a new cylinder as well, just in case. They turned the gun around very quickly and she's an accurate shooter. I have to agree S&W CSRs are great!

I've always been a huge fan of Smith & Wesson Wheel Guns but was never really into their Semi Autos aside from an older piece chambered in .22 that I no longer have. Picked up the .22 to take the kids to the range and I'm pleasantly surprised with every aspect of it.

Bought a new M&P pro C.O.R.E put a delta point on it, bought 2 airweights for my wife and daughter-in-law, a M&P 22, and just bought a way cool 686 plus 2.5 snub from a board member. Lot of smiths for a old school colt fan !
Within the past couple of months I have went revolver crazy, I purchased a 627 Pro, 686 Plus 3 inch, and a 340 PD. I can't say enough about the quality of all of them. The accuracy is unbelievable. I have always been a semi-auto guy. These are the first revolvers I have owned and I love them. I shoot them much better than my Glocks and 1911's for some reason. I have officially crossed over LOL
