4” Model 19 for maximum versatility. Good for plinking, target shooting, EDC, small game and even big game shooting. Or I might go with Skeeter’s long ago choice of the 5” Model 27.

When it comes down to my favorite it would be my 1956 pre model 29 44 magnum unfired in original box and tools. Got lots way older and newer but that is my baby.

I would have a hard time parting with the M28-2 6” bbl my Dad gave me when I came home from the Army. I put a lot of rounds through it when I was in college. After that would be the M28-2 6” bbl I carried on duty for ten years. Both have sentimental value to me.

Bought a 4-inch Model 28 the day I turned 21 more than 50 years ago. Also bought a box of 110-grain SuperVel ammo to break it in with. Boy was that loud!

I would have to say my 442 since it is the one I consistently put in the holster and carry every day.
