Good news! Give her our regards and try to remember that you're a gentleman.:)

I did and she read this thread this morning. I wish three was more time, but she only had time for three days before going for another stay with her dad. Sabrina might have to move up to Houston for treatment. If so? I hope it helps. I fully support her if she has to move....for her own good.

A Christmas years ago I was down in Houston.
I called up my old S Texas girlfriend.
She was packing to leave town and I didn't get to see her.
I was dying to see what she looked like.
The calendar is not your friend!
But Ringo- I'm glad you had a good visit.

Karl, enjoy your time with Ms. S. Remember to drop us line when ya come up for air;):D

I did and sure will. After she arrived Tuesday, dropped her stuff at my place, then asked her where she wanted late lunch at, and to my surprise, she said Twin Peaks. One of her friends works there as a waitress. So, when we go, Laurel will be the gal we get. Laurel and I tried talking Sabrina into working there but, she doesn't like to wear that exposing of a costume.:o Anyway, I was shocked at how little she ate. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries, she ate maybe 1/4th and no fries. Good thing is she was very happy to spend time with her friend and raised her spirits more. We spent Thursday with her and wound up eating at Cheddars. It was doubly nice for me to be surrounded by two beautiful ladies.:D There was a table full of pilots who were eying both ladies and probably wondered what they were doing with me.

After that, just stayed out till she got tired, so cut the day short by going in at about six pm. What I thought was good, is she ate some Swedish meatballs and pasta I made along with one of my cinnamon orange rolls. Since I have a large DVD collection, she decided to watch: American Sniper and fell asleep during Lone Survivor. My cat had to compete with her for three days and is the jealous type.

Thurs, she wanted to eat at Bubba's, which is a ''chain'' of restaurants 8 stores strong. Anyway, she enjoyed some chicken strips with me and loved the sweet potato fries.

After that, went to Academy to look at stuff and while I was looking for good walking shoes, she wondered off to the ammo counter and called me letting me know they had boucoup .22 in and suggested I get some. I got there and told her I'd rather buy her stuff instead of me, but she insisted twisting my arm figuratively. I bought her 500 rounds of the good stuff having forgotten that I had bought her a gun till then.

We left to go home so I could surprise her with her gun. Last thing she was expecting. We got back, I asked her to sit on the futon and close her eyes. She asked what I did now, and I placed the gun in box on her lap. Man, to say the least, she loves the thing. I told her I was also having some custom grips made for her, but they wouldn't be fitted till late next week. Each side has a Spartan helmet and Molon Labe top and bottom. I had a scan of what it looked like and she loves it. I'll try to get someone to post pics of this for me. The grips are made of Maple and has a sandy color to it.

Well, had to get rest for today, as her ride left for Houston early this morning. I don't know how long she will be there? but depends on what and how long her treatment is. Arizona didn't help her much and she lost weight. So I am still very worried. Also, she may have to move to Houston for her treatment, so I can't say what is in store. I told her she has my full support on what she needs.

Anyway, if she is there for the long haul? I'll see to it she has that gun and that ammo. Her father is a shooter too, so they Caan go to whatever club he belongs to.

Saying bye to her this morning, reminded me of when I saw Heather off to Vermont in 96. Same here on wanting to see how Sabrina fared with treatment. She was in good spirits but lost a lot of weight and was pale. I noticed how easily tired she got but, I was more than greatful to be the lucky one to be her chaperone. She didn't want pictures taken which is understandable, because of the weight loss and she lost some hair. But I tell you one thing, she's still as beautiful as ever.
