Illinois Speed Limit.

You don't ever want to go to Texas, then. The speed limit seems to be at least ten over, no matter what the limit actually is. On the toll road between Austin & San Antonio, a good part of the toll road has an 80MPH speed limit, & in one section its 85MPH. I'll be cruising at 85 & I'll still get passed like I was sitting still.

You obviously haven't been to my part of Texas. Most roads the speed limit is 75. These morons usually drive 45-55 in a 75 zone. Usually in the left lane on a four lane highway.

Glad I have no reason to go to Ill Noise.

We have a speed limit now. Limit on 2 lane is 70 and 75 on the interstate. We just have a few HPs. Tickets aren't to pricy, but then I only got a warning for going 85 on a 2 lane road anyway.

When I was young there were signs on the edge of towns that said end of speed zone and that's what it meant.

Lived in Illinois all of my life except for my all expense paid trip around the world compliments of the USMC. The state is amongst the top two most corrupt states in the union. I believe new Jersey is the other. We put more governors and big city (Chicago) politicians in prison than any other state in the union. 60,000 gang members in Chicago and none of them can shoot straight. You can see why over 50% of the population that was recently polled, wanted out of the state.
