I recall him getting the wrong info fed to him the night of the 2000 election and then having to back track. You could tell somebody was going to get a tongue lashing for making him look like a bigger idiot than normal that night.

It's been said- in war the first casualty is the truth. When you got folks like Dan on the scene, Amen to that!
I know a guy here in town who shot a little girl with a 50 cal. He was a crewman on one of the Navy boats up North around DaNang. They were heading through a narrow cut when this kid appeared in the weeds. She was only about 10 feet away and holding a grenade. I don't think he's sorry he did it but it's something he has never forgotten.
