In times of strife, reach for quiche.

Since I have cut processed meats from my diet I settle for an all vegetable omelet, run it through the garden, with cheese topped with
some home brewed hot salsa.
If eating out top with some of the Avery Island nectar, Tabasco.

I got kicked out of a bar for eating quiche!

No, really. I was in my mid-twenties, I was in this little tavern here on the north coast, and I was three sheets to the wind. The bartender had made himself dinner, a bacon and cheddar quiche, and set it down on the bar while he fetched himself a beverage. He came back to find me goin' to town on it! All I remembered the next day was that someone had been really pissed at me the night before. I bumped into the bartender about a week later and by then (thankfully!) he was laughing about it and told me what I'd done.
