We had our Fourth celebration on the third – beautiful dry weather, with temps starting in the low 80's, down to the 70's, and at the end of the show in the mid 60's. It was held in our Regional Airport, but to get an FAA permit to use it, we had to have an air show. It was scramble, but we managed to get Chris Rounds to fly his Lockheed/Canadair T-33, and the world renown air show performer Julie Clark, flying her "Free Spirit" Beechcraft T-34A; I had seen her perform in the past, she is truly amazing! After that we had our yearly fireworks, sponsored as usual by our local Kiwanis Club – all of this free! We had a good time.
