I'm looking for an inexpensive hard case for my 15-22. I want to be able to keep my optics and foregrip on and still be able to put it in a case. I want to keep cost down, any suggestions? Thanks!!

If you need a double (large) scoped case.. I've been eyeing this one at Walmart. It's wheeled and for $115 abouts.

That is a sweet case, and ultimately what I want. But, the price is a little high. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the link! That's exactly what I'm looking for. That's cheap for a hard case that size.

I don't have one but it looks like this might fit the bill. $20 at Walmart. It show's out of stock but maybe you could find it local or from someplace else.

Plano ProMax

P.S. I don't support Dicks anymore since they pulled there magazines and black guns off the shelves. ;)

Academy doesn't display black guns either. They still sell them, but you have to ask to see one.

BTW OP, if you have an academy near you they have plano hard cases.

Bluezero: Dick's quit selling 'black guns"?? Maybe that is just in Wisconsin. They still have them in NC. They may be out of stock instead of quit selling them. They did NOT raise prices the last 4 months. Remington green box 9mm ammo was $14.95 a box last week. Limit three. I bought my three late on Friday night and left happy. There were still 50-60 boxes left.

All LGS and pawn shops are at $24.95+ for 9mm. I support Dick's for not gouging.

Gosh I'll have to check back. That was 4-5 weeks ago but all "tactical" style guns and "all" magazines where pulled off the shelf. The guy working said they pulled the magazines over 10 round then a week later pulled them all. It's sort of on my way home from work so was always a nice place to stop and get ammo. I'll report back soon! lol

Dick's pulled them from the display here in FL as well, but the counter guy said you could still special order them from the catalog. I haven't tried so I don't know if he was misinformed.

I'm planning to get this one but the double sized version as some reviews have stated that it's a little better than the Plano comparable one.

Amazon.com: Flambeau Safeshot Oversized Single Case: Sports & Outdoors@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/4116GZYvH-L.@@AMEPARAM@@4116GZYvH-L

I want the double sized one as i'm eventually looking to get a shotty too. Plus I think alot of those rifle profile sized might be a tight fit once all your upgrades and attachments are on the rifle.

Go to Amazon and search "hard rifle case". I got the Plano very happy with it.

this. since we don't know the budget, it's hard to make a determination. I say go to Amazon, search hard rifle case, then sort by price. Then you can look until you get to the ones priced at your limit. To some $100 IS a cheap case (esp for a dual)..considering there are ones that go into the $3-400's.

Check Walmart or other big box stores for a Plano case. They're usually $25-35. for a "scoped" case.

They (Dicks) also pulled all Modern Sporting Rifles and are NOT re-stocking any add-ons here too. Not for sure, but anything called "tactical" might have been pulled too.
