I got a Kramer holster in a deal last week for a Taurus 445. The book says it is a compact frame, not to be confused with the .44 mag Large Frame.
I know it is a 2" cannon, but don't know if it is close to an N frame, L frame or K frame.
I don't have any big bore snubbies to try in it and am curious to know if it might fit something in the S&W line?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

445 size

The Taurus 445 is very close to the size of a K frame. The cylinder is a little bit larger due to it being in .44 sp.

I hope this helps.

Best Wishes,
Tom

I have a Taurus 415 which I believe is the same frame size as your gun but a .41 mag snub. It fits perfectly in a holster made for my 686 snub so I think your gun is about the same as an L frame gun.

Thanks guys.
Kind of suspected that it had to be close to the Model 696 , five shot L frame .44 spl.
