Info on the S&W 908...

I recently picked up a 909 - it's equivalent to a 3904 in the Value or American Pride series only with a round trigger guard. With a single sided safety it's as slim as the 908 but holds an additional round. (10) and adds 1/2" grip purchase area and barrel. (4" vs 3.5" )

Fits a Sparks Sumner Special for my 457.

No a bad single stack carry at all but I'd still like to get a nice 908.

That's a nice looking gun. I've concluded that the "value" series is really under rated. They seem to hold their value well and they shoot absolutely great.

Last post was 10/2013... Flash forward and I still own this gun. I recently wanted a full size and picked up a Walther PPQ. Honestly still like the 908 better. It feels better, shoots better with less muzzle flip.

So much so I am now looking at picking up a couple of extra magazines for it.

Any other 908 fans our there.... chime in.

Almost picked one up yesterday - but the seller didn't have it with him. Maybe at next week's show.

Welcome, I have the 3913 and really like it. If you find magazines at a reasonable price, please tell me. Other than with high prices a common auction site, I found two original factory 3913 mags in a corner shelf at a busy range. They let me have them foe the marked price of $15.00 each. Do not get desperate enough to buy Mag Pro mags. I have a few slightly easier to find Model 39 magazines that stick out, but work.

Although it was part of the value line 25 years ago, the 908 is now part of the "They do not make them like that anymore" category. May it serve you well.

I had a 410 (40S&W) and liked it.
I Have a 915 (9mm)right now.
I guess I like the value series guns(but dont call me cheap)
These guns cost as much as the others today.
