Information on ancient_one

I knew if I lived long enough that I would one day read bad news concerning your Dad.

As posted above I'm among the "legions of fans" your Dad has on this forum. My wife feels as if she knows him, I've told her of or read many of his post to her. He doesn't just tell a story, he paints vivid images of his life for us to see.

Please let him know just how appreciated he is to so many.

Also, many thanks to you Ms. Carol for letting us know about your Dad.

I hope to see the both of you posting here in the future!

Chris

Many of the folks on the forum have never met in person, a lot have never spoken on the phone they simply visit via this new fangled means of communication.
But many friendships exist thanks to the internet and this forum. Another means to connect with new friends and like minded people.
Your Dad was a shining star when he was able to post. He is missed.

God bless you and him and comfort the whole family.

Sorry to hear of another of our members having troubles. He was one of the core members here that I enjoyed for many years. Prayers for everyone. The forum has a great group of personalities and he is one of them. Hope when you tell him about all the support here it puts a smile on his face, Larry

Graydon is literally an institution within this forum. I’ve felt much camaraderie with him, being a fellow sailor and have cherished his stories of his WWII duties in the Navy. Please give him my best and tell him that I’m praying hard for him. Fair winds and following seas, brother.

Carol:

I’m so sorry for your family.

Graydon has been a delight here on the board. He’s always a gentleman and has been willing to share his knowledge and engage in discussions here.

I’ve noticed that he’s not been participating here for a while. I’ve missed him in that interval. Learning that he’s unlikely to return makes his absence now more difficult.
