Interesting Concept

MolonLabeTX made the following statement as part of a larger post;

"...I do reload .327. It has become one of my favorite calibers. I wish S&W would make an 8 shot L Frame..."

It piqued my interest as I have the Ruger Blackhawk 8-shooter in 327 Fed Mag, and was inspired to wonder "Why not?" Has anyone else heard anything about this concept and whether it is under any real consideration in Springfield? It just seems to be too good an idea to ignore.

Moderators, if this belongs in some other section of this forum, please feel free to move it as you wish, but it was an idea I found here that I wanted to expand the discussion on.

I think that an L-frame in that configuration would be a hit. I know that I'd get one, maybe with a 5" tube.

I've got the 7-shot GP-100 in .327 Fed and have owned an 8-shot Blackhawk in the past. Naturally... I thought a TEN-shot Redhawk in .327 Federal made perfect sense.
