Armorer's Manuals (although not officially for sale to the public) are sometimes for sale online. Sometimes they are original and mostly re-prints - but descent reprints never the less.

You did say in your post you have the Jerry Kuhnhausen Shop Manual which is excellent as well.

Back from the range after hammer work described above and som da sear let out adjustment and the revolver now is firing reliably and as always is very accurate at the tested 25 yds. Much thanks to the members helpful suggestions!
It is shooting well enough that I'm encouraged to find a way to improve the sights without drilling and tapping...but that will be another thread.
