I have no dog in this fight. The Superbowl, I have seen much chatter on the webs that KC has been gifted many questionable calls. Esp. in the play offs. Some big name announcers shocked as well. The NFL lost me many moons ago. But such corruption, if true, would be very bad for all involved. Wondered what you all have heard and think.

"That's ridicules" said the NFL Referee in the stadium parking lot as he got into his $350,000 Ferrari and headed for his six-million-dollar beach front home...:)

Honestly, most all blown calls and dropped balls are probably just honest mistakes, but with the obscene amounts of money involved in a game like the Super Bowl, well, human nature being what it is?

As Bill Burr said, it is not fixed, but it is massaged. And the Chiefs get all of the back rubs from the NFL and their refs. The NFL classified themselves as entertainment and not a sport when they went before Congress. They can't get sued for massaging games that way.

The NFL, like the NBA and MLB, exists for only one reason -- money. And the greatest amount of money comes NOT from ticket sales... but from gambling. The gambling money involved absolutely dwarfs money from any other source.

You're dern tootin' it's rigged...

Nope - the biggest amount of revenue comes from broadcast fees. Pretty sure this is true of NFL, NBA, and MLB and probably also true for NHL.

Sports betting will soon become a large problem. IMO

Haven't watched the NATIONAL FELONS LEAGUE since they went PC and play the other national anthem, which should be played by a military band. Instead, they have some no name singer singing it in their own rendition. So, no, I'll save my money and watch a good western on Grit.
