Hi I have been researching and cataloging my Smith collection and can't quite put a handle on this one , I read somewhere that only 1340 were made with a 2 inch barrel and adjustable sights
with uncle mikes rubber grips I did buy it new and used it extensively as my boat gun it's still in good shape and functions fine The only one I can find is on Gunbroker and the seller starts bidding just shy of 2 grand any help would be great

Thanks

Model 651-1

Bit of a Flamethrower Too

Yes, they are scarce and relatively expensive. Bet it is loud with regular rifle loads!

Funny story on this mag I had a 4 top offshore charter the owner of a local tattoo shop and his employees , I had a 4 ft Remora up on the surface going after the live bait so I clipped him in the tail
and he was gone but one of the guys asked if he could shoot it and sure no problem I fished out a 2 litre bottle a ways and gave him 6 rounds he shot those and handed me the gun back and said thanks and he had not been able to shoot a gun since he went to Prison You just never know
Thanks Murphy do you think this is a Lew Horton ?

Only a letter of authenticity would tell you for certain, or someone here with specific knowledge. As you may know, Lew Horton went out of business recently and it is possible all their records are now unobtainable.
