Italian Grinder, Hogie

Jaffrey NH had the best pre frozen pizza & asst grinders for miles around. :( When it's the ONLY game around, you are #1. :D

In Rindge right near the Cathedral of the pines was a gas station that made a fine sub. It was decent, then a Black guy bought it, and it became awesome. I haven't been there in years. We called it four corners, not sure I just it was the real name.

I have traveled in 2/3 of America and in three countries and sampled sandwiches/hoagies in two establishments that stand out to me: Primanti's of Pittsburgh, PA & Eat Z's, Dallas, TX. Each so different yet so similar: fresh bread and meats and veges as required and the dressing - oh so fresh. Plus you can build - especially at Eat Z's - and eat as required. If I went away hungry, it was my fault.

I like pickled asparagus on my hot dogs. One spear flavors the dog in just the right proportion. Onions and mustard too.

thanks for that idea, evel.
i have pickled asparagus but never thot of using it with dogs.
now that you suggested it, i can see that would be yum.
i do love pickled veggies on subs.

Susieqz......some of the Subways around us have pickled sweet pepper strips as an available condiment. Think Bread and Butter pickle using sliced sweet peppers instead of cucumbers. Delicious if your's has them.
