Best friend has a "Dog Cat", acts like a dog in every way, got her when they lived in TEXAS. Heard about her for a few years, last month I finally met this Cat. Never seen another like her.
Daughter and SIL have another " cool cat" that I always joke about catnapping when I leave their place, her husband the surgeon would chase me down, lol.

I guess I'm prejudice! I Been dog bit 8 times (twice with rabies treatment!) and still love dogs. I been seriously scratched twice by cats, a would just as soon never see another!

I have had some wonderful cats, but there is absolutely no comparison!

I like dogs and cats better than humans.

Truth right there.

Oliver and Chessie.

Oliver is my cat. He's my buddy. Comes to the door when I get home. Talkative cat. He'll be 13 this year, still active and playful.

Chessie is more bonded to my wife. He was a feral kitten, took a LONG time to get him to be social. But he's a sweet cat.

I like dogs too, grew up with them.

When I retire I'd like to get one.

Bailey isn't a dog. She is an almost 13yr old gal we rescued (over 11 yrs ago) that is a loving family member. Who just happens to shed on the couch.
Frankly, we have never had "just a dog", but rather have had different members of the family who had some unique traits.

My boy loves to work. Even on the way to the field to train, he grabs a heavy stick and carries it along.

Ever vigilant and ready to carry out his task. Rain or shine, cold or hot.

We just moved to a new house. All five dogs came with us. Two of them stay in the house. The other three, we will find a suitable spot to lay them down.

They are family.
