it's suggested that any who eat these donate to a Shriners hospital for kids or the Children's miracle network hospital, St. Jude's or a Children's Mercy hospital .... whichever is in your area. Any of these are very worthy causes.

Wait, today is both International Women's Day and National Pancake Day? If I had known I would have gone out to breakfast with a couple girl friends! I think the last time I had pancakes was over a year ago but I can still remember them because they were so good.... banana, macadamia, coconut pancakes from a place called Stacks.
I love breakfast foods, sometimes I make it for dinner or lunch for that matter because I love fried egg sandwiches with a gooey middle. Simple but goooood! My husband sometimes asks if I can make breakfast for dinner and sometimes I just do because that's all there is in the fridge and there isn't time to go to the store. Frittata is a good way to use up things too. If I didn't already have chicken veggie barley soup cooking on the stove right now I'd change the menu to eggs, bacon and pancakes. We will delay this for later in the week because now I'm thinking about warm fluffy pancakes. Thanks!
Went and had free pancakes along with eggs and ham for lunch at IHOP. Then donated to the Children's Miracle Network at the restaurant after I was done eating. Good deal all around!
I feel silly that I had never heard of National Pancake day and thought it was a day to celebrate to their deliciousness. It is nice to hear of this tradition of raising money for children's charities. I have never lived anywhere near an IHOP but we do have one close now. I guess that's where John & I will be eating a meal a year from now.
Nice stack of Buckwheats, crisp bacon, good hot coffee and maybe some OJ would be a great way to start the day. Oh yeah almost forgot some real maple syrup just barely warmed.
