I have an M&P 9c and an M&P .45 FS and love them.
I am actually about to buy a Glock, in .40.
I really don't like Glocks, but I can't say anything bad about their quality or performance. I just don't like the feel in my hand all that much.
I will say I am VERY accurate with them, even though I don't like the grip angle or grip feel.
I've wanted to add a .40 just to have one, and to be able to switch between .357Sig and .40. AND A LGS has used G22s with night sights for $425 out the door.
For my purposes that sounds ideal. I'd prefer a M&P, but I'd have to spend around $700 to make the trigger nice [Thank you APEX!], and THEN I'd have to buy a .357 barrel for it.
I can get the pistol and .357 barrel for $600 total. Hard to beat that price.
Plus, I'd have a Polygonal barreled pistol from the last major manufacturer to make them that way that I do not already own [HK/Kahr/MagnumResearch already].
But, I would MUCH rather have an M&P. I just can't see spending $900-$950 for something I would use rarely-just for kicks and giggles- when I could do the same thing for $600 overall.
BUT, M&Ps feel MUCH better.
