Here is some interesting reading that I ran across while trying to find out how US civilians ended up sending arms to Great Britain at the beginning of WWII. I don't know who wrote it, and I don't intend to go any further; but I did find out some things like who the ACDBH (?) was.

As the Brits used to say about Americans, "Over paid, over sexed, and over here," but let's face it, without American troops and equipment, and the American production capability at that time, the outcome would have been very different.
