J-Frame kind of week

I have had a great week finding J-Frames. I picked up a new mod 60, a mid 60's Mod 38 and a mid 60's sq butt 36 and passed on two nice 33's. I have been thining my 1911 herd so I have been on the lookout for nice revolvers and have found some nice one's recently. I love my J-Frames and have several but I also picked up the ugliest Mod 19 you have ever seen and a nice Mod 13. Yes I have it bad but I just cannot pass up a nice S&W at a good price. Thanks

Since receiving my CCL from Illinois in March, I am still experimenting with carry options. During the colder weather it was easy to conceal IWB or even OWB with a heavy sweater or sweatshirt. Now that is warmer it is a little more difficult, Tuckable just does not work for me, so I leave my shirt tail out and it covers fine.

Back to the point of the thread, my S&W 642 J frame has become my go to carry piece, with a Uncle Mike's pocket holster it conceals great. With 5 rounds of 38+P I never feel un gunned.

Yes I should have bought both 33's. I was going to make a offer on one that appeared unfired with no box but I handed it back while I checked out a couple that he had held back for me when a guy that was just sitting there got up and offered $375 for it and he took it. It was a 3" I think the other was a very nice snub that I made a offer on so I still may get it. I carry a J-Frame every day in warm weather and most days in winter and I am a big J-Frame fan. Here is a pic of my ugly Mod 19. It is ugly but has the best action of any revolver I have ever had and I have owned a bunch.
