Dad wants a J frame, blued with exposed hammer. Can't see stainless sights. Looked at the Smith site and cannot find one? Suggestions?

Do some shopping. You can find minty Model 36's with forged parts from the 60's to the 80's for about half the price of a new one and you'll be getting a better gun. I recently bought a 1957 Model 36 snubby for $250.00 and while its not in mint condition, it is one heck of a shooter.
