J Frame Snub Owners: What is your favorite "carry" grips?

I originally carried my 60-7 with an Uncle Mike's. When they began to deteriorate I exchanged them for Pachmayr Compac. Bulkier but manageable, and more suited for +P ammo control.

Same here with Hideout Grips…wasn’t sure they still make them.

Craig Spegel's the real deal in handmade grips. The most coveted grip to have on a j frame in my opinion. I have contemplated buying myself a pair, but the waiting list is a bit long. I think it's 2 years plus... but I am very happy to own several pairs of the Uncle Mike's version. Thanks for cool photo! Great collection of J frame you have there.

Call Craig Spegel and get on the waiting list! Worth the trouble and wait. I have some of his other offerings as well but nothing like an actual Spegel Boot Grip on a RB S&W.

Thank you Sir.

In addition to making sure your grip feels good when shooting and is suitable for your carry method, it is also critically important to confirm they are compatible with your choice of reload method. Some grips ( the current factory synthetic grips being the best example) make it near impossible to use a speedloader.
For deep concealment like pocket carry it will always be a trade off between accessibility ease or draw and comfort/ control while shooting

My current J’s are a square butt 34 with factory wood and a Tyler T. No recoil to speak of and a steel gun.
My pocket 442 has uncle Mike boot. They do OK but with firing anything more than about 50 rounds I open up a gash on the base of my thumb metacarpal joint but I don’t think that is the grips fault.

I just ordered a set of the Hamre forge grips to try
